General Psychologist – BSc (Hons); MPsych (Clinical); MAPS
Liria is passionate about assisting clients to identify and explore their inner strengths and resources and achieve their full potential. Her special interest areas include Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, loss and grief, Bereavement, adult ADHD, life and workplace-related stress, relationship difficulties, self-defeating patterns of behaviour, low self-esteem and emotional detachment. Liria utilises different approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Schema-Focused Cognitive Therapy within a Person-Centred framework. Liria provides therapy to adults (18+), and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Outside of her psychology practice Liria enjoys listening to music, learning Italian, playing scrabble and word games, reading non-fiction and Science, collecting rare Australian coins, bird watching, walking in nature, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
