In her sessions, Alison applies a variety of counselling styles to her work with adults. She is outcome focused and often uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in combination with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. She helps her clients clarify their values and goals and take action to improve their lives. She is passionate about helping people find strength and joy in themselves, their work and their relationships. Alison provides client centred care in a compassionate, non-judgmental and confidential environment to help with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and interpersonal difficulties. Including anxiety, depression, anger, stress, grief and loss, self-esteem and confidence, trauma and adjustment to major life changes and events. Alison particularly enjoys working with older adults and people experiencing career and work-related difficulties.

When she isn’t working, Alison enjoys spending time baking and being in nature often with a coffee in hand.
