Accoras has been improving the health and wellbeing of South East Queenslanders for over 25 years.

We have a strong commitment to mental health promotion, early intervention treatment and assistance when symptoms are emerging, and ongoing support for people with established mental illnesses.

Accoras is known for our close connections to our community, for identifying needs and developing solutions, and for making big impacts with limited resources. We receive funding from a variety of sources, including the Department of Social Services, Department of Employment and the Brisbane South Primary Health Network.

We have led and partnered in several major mental health research and evaluation projects, including those in the areas of suicide prevention and the social and emotional wellbeing of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.

We take pride in knowing that people who come to Accoras for help get it, and that this help make a meaningful difference for them.
