We offer a number of different workshops to local schools in South Brisbane and on the Gold Coast for primary and secondary schools. Available workshops include LoveBites, the Koping Adolescent Program, CALD focussed workshops and transitional workshops for students starting secondary school. We have qualified and practicing Social Workers, Psychologists and Early Intervention specialists available to present either in-person across the Greater Brisbane area, or virtually with a live or recorded presentation. Industry-specific workplace training

2-hour industry specific mental health education

Mental health concerns commonly can be presented by clients and within the workplace, but how can you help? We have developed group face-to-face workplace trainings that are delivered by a Psychologist aiming to help commonly exposed industries have a deeper understanding of mental health, common warning signs and how to best support people. Current workplace training industries include:

  • The Beauty Industry - including hairdressers and beauticians

  • The Fitness Industry - including personal trainers, gym managers and fitness instructors

Accoras collaborated with the Wilston-Grange Gorilla’s Football club to deliver workshops to player, trainers and parents. President, Matt Trewhella wanted to create a culture that focussed on mindfulness and well-being to not only support their performance on the field but in every day life.
